The allocation of the page to a day should be more proportional to imminence.

Today and tomorrow are approximately 1/20 of the page each.
The next two days are about 1/40.
The next six days are about 1/48.
On the other side of fold 1, 4 days in the next week are given 1/20th each!

It is pretty obvious that this was done because it is a simple layout (1st row 1/20, next row 1/40, remaining 1/4Cool but it flies in the face of intuition.

I propose a layout such that once folded, The first unfolding provides a week and one day at a glance. Three days above fold three and 5 days below. Extra area would be given to today, tomorrow and one week from today.

This approach has several advantages.
1) Fold boundaries are retained
2) More area is given to the current week for adding near term appointments
3) The user still has at least a month when unfolding the entire sheet.
4) Extra space is given to add events with 1 week deadlines
