I did a search for this problem and didn't see it so....
There seems to be an issue with the tool tips pop up for notes on events. My events are all repeating right now, but only some will give me the popup tip and I can't find a reliable pattern as to when it will or won't.
Using: Firefox.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found the pattern. Tooltip popups only occur on the week selected. That's a little counter intuitive. I should be able to have that information at a glance when I put the mouse somewhere... |

Can the Tooltip popups be available in the month view as well? Is this a possible feature request?

To clarify, the "tool tips" you refer to (based on my research) show up in day mode, week mode, and in month mode only when a week is expanded.
I agree with quigleyr that the "tool tips" should be available within the entire month view. In fact, when in month view, the tool tips should also fully expand the calendar description.
