I was online yesterday when I received a pop up about losing the connection. (this was at work, over a T3, rest of internet access was working fine) Can't remember what the whole message was, but there were two buttons, one for resetting the connection. Also a warning about "if any data has been entered it may be lost" or something to that effect.
My first question: was the problem at your end?
And the second: what's the error handling in a situation like that? If I am working in online mode, and the connection is suddenly lost, am I in offline mode or does that require logging back in offline mode? Is info saved right up to the point the connection is lost?
I guess this goes back to knowing a bit more about the data store. Since this is a "live online" product, I'd like instructions for those "accidents" that you know will occur.
(Not really a big, but it doesn't seem to fit in the General forum.) |

Good question Mike,
Here is my follow-up question. I am working on train in online mode and I lose my internet connection. Do the entries I make automatically goto the off-line data store and re-sync when my wireless card re-establishes an internet connection?
