Hi,
Here is my initial feedback after my first week of playing around: 2 things:
1- When dragging a task to the schedule, it is correctly placed at the specific time slot wherever you let go of the mouse... however, it would be cool if each time slot could be highlighted as you mouse over each 30-min time slot, as in iCal or in Palm Desktop, for instance.
2- Related to the above point... something I've been looking for in every planning tool I've tried, still with no success, is the ability to set a specific duration for a task -eg. 45 mins-, and then when this task is dragged to the schedule, have it automatically occupy those 45 mins, or whatever estimated task duration was assigned (rather than the current default 30 mins). This avoids having to resize the time block on the schedule after dragging it from the task list.
Maybe this is just me, but the above comes from the logical process I follow when planning my day out on paper: First I write down everything I need to do, in no order, as tasks come to mind. For each task I estimate how long I'll need to spend on it. Lastly, I allocate each task to a specific time-slot in my day, according to when I don't have any conflicting appointments.
Does this make sense to anyone else? |
