When a reminder for a calendar event pops-up, the "snooze for 30 minutes" option is highlighted. One way to confirm this selection is by tapping the space bar. This is a nice shortcut, but this caused me to miss a reminder because I was typing a note on another event when the reminder popped up. That is, as I typed the note, the pop-up came up but then was instantly dismissed as I happened to hit the space bar while typing my note.
Personally, I think that the user should have to very specifically click or highlight an option to clear a reminder (e.g., tab to an option like "snooze" and hit Enter). That way, a user can't accidentally dismiss a reminder because he/she is typing something else. |
