I'm trying to invite my wife to scrybe, so we can share calendars. I get the widget that scans my email acct for contacts, and am able to select particular contacts. It says that everything works at that point, but she never gets the invite.

Can you please list down the steps you are doing.

Here are the instructions provided in the General section of the forum:
--How do I share a Calendar?--

1. Log on to Scrybe.
2. Click on the grey arrow at the left edge of your Calendar area.
You calendars display in the pop-out pane.
3. Select an existing calendar or add a new one.
4. Click Share with your contacts.
5. Click Contacts to import your address book from any service.
Your contacts are now available within Scrybe and can be entered using the autocomplete function. Just type in the first few letters and see all matching contacts in your list.
6. Add a contact and click Update.
You can share your thoughtstream by following the same procedure.
To share your task lists, select a list and select sharing options in the same way in the Details pane.

Hope this helps.

I do all the steps, and at the end, it says my calendar has been shared or whatever. It's just that no one ever actually gets an invitation.

So I went back and added my whole address book to my contacts list. Now, when I try to share a calendar, I click on 'Share calendar,' then I click on 'Contacts.' then a window pops up that says, 'Request-URI Too Large

The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server."

So what do I do now?

I'm an idiot. The problem was, I thought that after I imported my contact list, I would be able to see the entire list in the box that comes up when you click "share." Instead, you have to start typing in a name in the small box to get it to come up. It would be cool if there was a way to go through all my contacts and check the ones I wanted to share with instead of having to start typing in their names one by one.

Does that make sense?

This issue will be resolved once a contacts module is integrated. Unfortunately, I cannot quote a specific time line for this.

Thanks,
Sabika
