I am running Windows XP SP2
Using Firefox 2.0.0.6 and IE 6.0.2900.2180
Running Flash Player 9,0,47,0
At 1280 x 1024
I have a thoughtpad entry that has 8 entries and fills up 6 full rows and when I try to print it in either portrait or landscape mode using the classic option it overlaps the entries. In portrait it forces all of the entries onto one page and makes the first/last few lines of several of them unreadable because of the overlap. In landscape it prints out two pages but it still has the problem with overlapping entries.
I'm new to Scrybe so it may be user error. Please let me know if you need any more information regarding this issue.
Thanks. |

| I experience a similar printing error. It may be my printer but the booklet, the notepad and the desktop all print with margin errors and some of the information is missing. |

deepwtr: Do the entries overlap in preview also?
Can you try to take a print with one less note and see if the problem is still there.
jrhavener: Can you please ensure that the print paper size (Letter, A4 etc.) in your Print dialog matches exactly with the physical paper in the printer.

Thanks for the reply Sabika.
When you preview the label the notes do not overlap. They only overlap when printed out. I did a test print from the first note and then the third note, which excluded the first two, and the notes overlapped on both print-outs. I then deleted the last note and printed from the first note and the notes had the same problem. All of the print-outs are in classic view. Let me know if you would like examples of the output. I can send them to you as pdfs.
I've run into another issue that I think might be associated with the printing problem. Several of my notes are fairly long, 40+ lines. After creating a longer note and closing it if I go back to update the note the information on the 41st line is taking the last character from that line and returning it to line 42 by itself and then the rest of the note continues like normal. If I make a change to the note but do not move the character on the 42nd line back up to the 41st it leaves the character on the 42nd line. If I then go back in to edit the note again it has added a return after the 41st line pushing the single character to line 43 and continues to add a new line every time I go in to update if I do not remove the excess lines myself.
I took a closer look at the overlap on the print-outs and the overlap seems to consistently happen right around line 40 for the notes that do overlap. I assume the issues are related to one another but I could be wrong. If you need anything else please let me know. I'm really enjoying Scrybe and finding it to be very useful.
Thanks. |

We are investigating the overlapping bug. We are able to replicate the character break bug and are working on it.
It would be great if you could send us the PDF output to further investigate this bug at feedback[at]iscrybe[dot]com.
Thanks,
