Selecting text and images from web pages are (sometimes) not displayed correctly in Thoughtpad. One instance I encountered is that all text ( containing no hyperlinks) is being displayed as hyperlinks ( colored blue) in the bookmarklet pop-up.
The app then does not respond.
See screenshot of the error http://farm1.static.flickr.com/130/381547840_4b60d623a7_o.png
Encountered on IE 7, Win XP Prof, Flash Activex ver- 9.0.28.0,

bugslayer,
I used FF2 and got the same results.
The footnote html and the html in the article header must conflict some how.
I had a clean input into thought pad from the article head up to the footnote.
When I included the footnote I get the same issue as you.
I was able to get a clean input of the entire section if I did not include the article header.
The graphic always imported cleanly.

david,
i tried again ( very ... carefully ) this time skipping the foot note.
It worked.
As you mentioned Bookmarklet seems to have issues when a page has links to content on the same page; as in the footnote anchor. Is this the desired behaviour ? |

bugslayer,
The bookmarklet utility allows you to bookmark links with some text and images for reference. It is not designed for copy pasting entire web pages.
We recommend that you select the key text and images from a web page to add it to your ThoughtPad using the bookmarklet.
Hope this helps.

Sabika,
I understand that this is not for saving entire webpages ( i would rather use Webaroo to do that)... but did u get the real issue in that? if u copy some text , and if there is a link to some anchor on the same page, boormarklet has trouble copying such items.
