Uploading Images is coming soon.
At this point you can add image through their locations.

1. Open a note.
2. Click Images on the Insert panel.
The “Images” dialog displays.
3. Provide the image location in the Image Source Link.
4. Provide a Caption (optional).
5. Provide a Target web link (optional).
Target web link refers to the address of the web page that you want to
open, upon clicking the image that you are adding to your note.
6. Click Next to preview your image.
7. Click Update.
Image adds to your note.

Instructions for copying image locations are provided below.
IE users:
1. Right-click on an image and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
2. Copy the link provided against Address: (URL) in the Properties dialog.

Firefox users:
Right-click on an image and select Copy Image Location from the pop-up menu.
You can paste the copied link in the Source link field provided in the Image pop-up in your Thought pad.

Note:
You can also copy HTML text with images and link and paste it in the Scrybe Clipboard to add images.

Dear Sabika,

Thank you very much for the fast reply. I tried your method and it still doesn't work. Does anybody else have the same problem?

Here's what happens.

1. I click add image.
2. Add the URL to the "image source link" box
3. Click Next. I see the preview of my image there. It's the correct one!
4. I click update
5. The image still doesn't add to the toughtpad.

This is very strange because everybody else can add images and I can't.

Thank you very much for your help.

davkomp,

Am I correct in assuming that you have not added a single image in your ThoughtPad yet?

Or is it an image from some particular site or a file type?
Could you please send us that image location on feedback(at)iscrybe(dot)com.

Thanks,
Sabika

Sabika,

You are right. I haven't added any images to the thoughtpad. The image location is http://images.apple.com/iphone/images/techhero_specs20070109.jpg Sabika, you're a great help. Thank you very much.

I just added the image link you posted.

Try all the steps again but add Step 8.

Step 8 - Make sure the master window is scrolled all the way to the bottom. There should be another "Update" button to select. This button updates the ThoughtPad note. Select it and you should be good to go.

I hope this helps.

Davkomp,

Could you please try using the bookmarklet on a webpage with image reference. Does bookmarklet work for you or are you unable to add images through bookmarklet either.

I tried the image link you provided and it added just fine.

Could you please give me some information regarding your OS and browsers.

Would it be possible for you to try using your account from another machine. Both ThoughtPad and Bookmarklet work fine on WinXP and IE 7.

We just want to understand if this is an isolated machine specific issue perhaps related to some of your security settings etc. Do you have any firewalls etc. enabled?

Dear Sabika,

I tried it on another machine. Same results, I can't add images to the Thoughtpad. I have Zone Alarm as my firewall. I've tried to add images with both my antivirus and firewall disabled. I still didn't work.

Thank you very much for your help

I face issues (intermittently) with the bookmarklet in Thoughtpad. Selecting text and images on a web page doesn't always show up fully in the Scrybe Bookmarklet pop up.
One time when the pop-up showed blank - with no images/ text whatsoever, clicking on "Get latest web clippings" however brought my selections in.
Any one else faced these issues?
Will post again when I am able to consistently reproduce this.
Cool

Sabika,
Don't remember which page it occurred on exactly. I'll tell you how to navigate.

1) Go to http://www.hrjohnsonindia.com/porselano/porselano_subbrand.asp?page=1&pl=20
2) Click on any of the swatches and you should get a pop-up ( new tab in IE 7)
3) Select text + image in the new tab, click on the Scrybe bookmarklet, click Update.

Now, Go to http://www.hrjohnsonindia.com/. Below "Enter Site->" ( to your right) look for the small gifs labeled "Johnson", "Porselano" etc ... not able to add any/all of those images to the thought pad as well.

On a page that has several thumbnails ( example http://www.hrjohnsonindia.com/porselano/porselano_subbrand.asp?page=1&pl=20 ) selecting multiple images/ text- changes the order they appear in the bookmarklet pop-up . I was not able to see my selections in the thoughtpad.

Cheers! Cool
